Health Care Providers also lack awareness and information on Alzheimer’s disease and related Dementia. The majority of them are often ignorant about the diagnosis and management issues.Therefore, there is a lack of trained manpower to provide medical diagnosis and treatment especially in the rural areas. Considering this situation, Alzheimer’s Pakistan is running an health education program to provide reliable, accurate and up-to-date information on all aspects of diagnosis,management and care of Dementia. Our training program includes training on:
- Early diagnosis
- Care management
- Optimizing physical health, cognition, activity and well-being
- Detecting and treating behavioral and psychological symptoms
The training to health care providers is provided through lectures, workshops, conferences and short courses.
