Alzheimer’s Pakistan Peshawar Branch has been recently established in the Peshawar on the initiative of Major Mian Abdul Basit (Retired) who is its Founding Member and General Secretary. He is also a caregiver and therefore committed to work towards the welfare of people suffering from Dementia and their Caregivers. Difficult terrain, lack of elaborate communication infrastructure, poor educational base and orthodox social and cultural environments make it an up hill task to bring awareness about Alzheimer’s and related dementias particularly amongst those who live in far flung areas. However Peshawar Branch has accepted this challenging task and is fully committed to accomplish it, off course with your help and assistance. Peshawar Branch is focusing its activities primarily towards Northern Pakistan and KPK. We invite you to come forward and join our hands in pursuits of our noble mission by becoming its members and through donations.
